This One Day Emergency First Aid Course in Suffolk is designed for teachers
and support staff who work within the school environment.
By the end of the course the delegates
will:
- Understand the role of the
First Aider
- Know How to Report Incidents
- Understand the Importance of Barriers
- Know How to Access the Scene and Situation
- Demonstrate First Aid and CPR Safely and Effectively
- Demonstrate How to Treat Bleeding and Wounds

- Provide First Aid For Minor Injuries
- Recognise Signs of Shock and Deal with Them.
- Recognise and deal with Choking
- Aid a casualty who is unconcious or in a seizure
- Recognise the signs of Anaphalatic Shock

All the above topics include relevant information to adults,
children & babies. The cours will be assesses and will result in a One Day Appointed Person certificate.
